Chapter 10- And so it goes

The end. It's here. In chapter 10, the book changes point of view from Billy's to Vonnegut's. In the end, they both find there way back to Dresden. As Vonnegut would say "so it goes"(Vonnegut 214). Many of the characters throughout were lost in time. It was the way of life. The circle never ends and Vonnegut surely showed that throughout the book. I enjoyed reading it this summer. Now for school....wahoo.

  1. I certainly agree. Especially, that many of the characters, and ourselves (including me), get so caught up in something that we become lost and unaware of everything else around us. I think that Vonnegut's motif "so it goes" attempts to remind us that even though we may be focused on a certain aspect of our lives, there are many things going on around us. For instance, as I am doing my homework, (I forget that) my brother is not doing his chores. The motif reminds me that I need to keep an eye on all things around me and not just where the focus of my attention may be.
